The audience was not at all happy with Donny Ray’s announcement and turned on him. Not wanting any part of Donny Ray’s “go away heat” (and on the advise of VP of Product, Wendy Watson) Johnny Social (Austin Hunt) left him hanging in the ring. Outraged, Donny Ray returned to the back.
The first match of the show was another first round bout in the American Classic tournament. It featured Ignatius Quinn vs Boulder. IQ worked a great match putting the big man over. Backstage after the match he bumped into Johnny Social and challenged him to have a better match.

After getting out of his car, the footage continues to show a group of masked men trashing his shiny Lexus GS. Henry assures the Doctor that they have insurance for things like this, but the Doctor wants vengeance.
Coming back from commercial, Johnny Social’s music hits and the high flyer comes out to cheers from the Bristol crowd. After taking some selfies with kids at ring side, he takes the mic and calls out Donny Ray Boggs. Ever the good soldier and wanting to redeem himself, Donny Ray runs to the ring and accepts the challenge. A series of high flying moves brought the crowd to their feet. However, the finish of the match was a fiasco, as Donny Ray was way out of position and the audience made both men hear about it.
The crowd was then shown a vignette of The Prep (Ryan Dempsey ) giving Wendy Watson a tour of the polo grounds where he spends his time in the off season. He regaled Wendy with his past exploits on the polo field how it helps him stay in shape for the squared circle. He contrasted this with Larry Gin’s training regiment, or lack there of.
Next up is a tag team bout featuring the Speed Demons vs New School. Backstage, when New School is announced, Wendy point to The Prep and the Doctor and says, “That’s you guys, go get ’em!” As the were leaving Wendy stopped the Prep and said, “Don’t let the Doctor get out of control tonight. Protect yourself out there. I’ve got big plans for you.”
Hating the idea of being paired together again the men walk to the ring separately and never get on the same page. The Doctor refused to tag in and instead tried to work the crowd from the outside. One of the Speed Demons, attempting to get the Doctor involved in the match, leapt at the Doctor who attempting to catch him and failed miserably and which down with an injury. Unphased, the Prep went straight to the finish and slapped on the Mercedes Bendz for the victory.
Post match saw the Prep celebrating when the Doctor returned to the ring and gave the Prep a STIFF shot with one of his crutches. This saw the masked men return and proceed to beat down the Doctor. The masked men left the Doctor laying and the Prep recovering from the cheap shot issued a challenge to the Doctor: “Next week, you and me, Polo Mallet on a Pole.”
