Sorcery Moves

Emerald Sorcery: When you Manifest Essence to Shape a spell roll +Twilight, on a 10+ it takes effect as intended, on 7-9 it leaves you drained and you take -1 ongoing until the effect ends, on a miss you are drained and have to Act under Fire from the backlash or spillover. You start with 2-mysteries and three attunements for your Spells.

When Shaping a spell the result can combine the scope of up to your mysteries in attunements to get the desired effect. Effects are considered 1st Circle, regardless of your own Circle of power, and have mysteries to divide between values for the effect where needed, such as for harm, armour, stock, worth in barter or number of tags.

Sapphire Sorcery: You gain +1 mysteries, two more attunements and can Shape 2nd Circle Spells, although the backlash or spillover from a failed Spell is proportionately worse on a miss.

Attunements

Attunements dictate what kinds of Spell you can shape, and can be combined to achieve a wide variety off effects. A Spell to send a message to a far off associate might require revealing information and acting at a distance, whereas one to give the subject armoured bronze skin might require transmutation and warding off harm.

Emerald Attunements

* reveal a truth or piece of information/misdirect with lies or illusion

* cross distance or barriers/bind or constrain passage

* summon a creature or force of nature/banish or ward off

* cause harm or destruction/heal pain or damage

* cause a change or transmutation/restore or reinforce something

* create a resource or necessity/unmake an object or quality

Sapphire Attunements

* act over a wide area/act with pinpoint accuracy and specificity

* have a devastatingly intense effect/affect potent entities or forces

* maintain results after you stop the effect/undo the effects of other forces

* create a place or mystical force/prevent a type of action from being attempted
