“4. The player to your left will tell you how their character was involved in that job. They take +1 links with your character. The MC will advance that corporation’s clock.”

So, I describe the job I was involed in. The player on my left discribe how he’s involved in. Then who take +1 LINKS ? Just him with my character ? Both of us between our characters ?

Hello everyone, I got few questions about cyberware.

Hello everyone, I got few questions about cyberware.

Hello everyone, I got few questions about cyberware.

1) If you already have a neural interface (let’s say data storage), do you need to go under the knife to install another module (like remote control) ?

2) Why cybercoms are not a neural interface module ? Same question for tactical compuer and skillwires

3) Can you connect to the matrix with cybercoms like a smartphone ? Or is it just like a radio transmission ?

4) Jack in suggest you have to plug yourself into the system physically , but remote control suggest wifi exist. Is there two kind of networks like in these days (wireless and wired) ? In this case, do wireless more oftenly used and wired is used in very secured areas ?

I just finished a personal translation for my french players with minor adjustments to match with my taste and I have to say I am really excited to run my first game.

Hamish Cameron you’ve made a really awesome game ! I haven’t been so enthousiastic reading an RPG since a long time ! What I find the most exciting is that every single move, every single rule is made to create story, to help players create unexpected developpments. You will say that’s the purpose of pbta games, but I think this one is really focus on this, plus rendering pretty well a cyberpunk atmosphere. This is a really good job, thank you so much !

About Financial and Masochistic directives.

About Financial and Masochistic directives.

About Financial and Masochistic directives. I think (but I may be wrong), they should be a little more complicated to complete. Something like :

– Financial : when you hinder the mission for a chance at extra profit aside the stakes when getting a job, mark experience.

– Masochistic : when you suffer one or more harm that you could avoid by being less ballsy, mark experience.

What do you think ?

Let’s talk about “inaccesible partition” and “satellite relay”.

Let’s talk about “inaccesible partition” and “satellite relay”.

Let’s talk about “inaccesible partition” and “satellite relay”. If I don’t misunderstand, they are negative tags. Like cortex bomb. Am I right ? So I feel strange they are present like options PCs can choose when creating an equipment (wich will never happen). I guess they are ideas for the MC. So I guess if PCs don’t want to go under the knife to avoid any immediate risk, they can ask corpos, they won’t make the move and avoid any Cred cost, but they will be +owned and maybe the MC will add one of the following tags : inaccessible partition, satellite relay, or cortex bomb. Am I right or totally away from the concept ?

Where can I find an official playbook sheet ?

Is it possible to have the layout to help me making a traduction for my french players ?

Some little things :

– p132 you talk about the tag numerous, but in p131 about shuriken and throwing knives, you use the tag infinite.

– grenades use the tag gas, but there is no description of it (and I assume it’s missing because you describe every weapon tags).
