Well i got a bit blind sided tonight.
What with personnel issues and all.
But i am back on track.
Tonight at 9.
The year is 1944.
June 5th.
On an airfield in southern England the men of the newly formed 101st Airborne wait to be dropped into Hitler’s Fortress Europe.
Welcome to 2nd Platoon, Airborne.
We may not have much of a history, but we have an rendezvous with destiny.
Come Play the Regiment.
A powered by the Apocalypse Game.
NICE!
I will read through tomorrow, but looks like a great start.
COOL!
We’re about five or six sessions in, and I’m really enjoying this game. (Incidentally, you’ve linked to 2.0 – there’s a slightly modified 2.1 out there with WWII trappings.)
Really? Michael Prescott, where is that version at?
Coolness

I’ve ran a number of sessions of The Regiment; LRDG in WW2 North Africa, PT Boats in the South Pacific, Spetsnaz in 1980s Afghanistan. Hell, I even did a con game that was a mash up of Where Eagles Dare and The Dirty Dozen. It’s a really good game, and it takes the AW engine into fascinating new places. The Engagement Moves alone are worth studying.
I totally agree about the engagement move. So interesting!
I have just bought the Spanish edition of AW (very interesting indeed), and The Regiment seems very interesting too!
