Here’s my first project for my new Patreon campaign! This is the Beast, a new skin for Monsterhearts. This character type was originally inspired by the classic 1945 horror film The Cat People, but it has several modern influences as well. It hasn’t been heavily playtested yet, so I hope people will use it in their games and let me know how things go.

I was taken aback by the way out of Darkest Self, then was all, oh, right, Cat People, duh.
Beauty and… is a really cool concept, but is actually a kinda weak move due to the string spending(which is the best you can hope for on a turn on roll anyways). I think you could just drop that, probably? It’s not stronger than gaining a string on someone whenever you lash out 7+, I think.
I really like the playbook overall.
