Big ‘Regiment’ fan here. I’m actively hacking away, but it’s not a literal translation to ‘fantasy mercenaries’ or anything like that.
The engagement move is one of my favorite mechanics in gaming.
I’m aiming more for ‘hexcrawl meets faction politics’. D&D’s expert set, but built on World of Dungeons and The Regiment. West Marches, but with multiple ‘towns’ sewn into a politically charged relationship map.
