Has anyone expanded Murderous Ghosts to run with more than two people? I could see one explorer with many murderous ghost players, but figuring out who does what on the murderous ghost side would be key to having it run smoothly.

  1. Vincent Baker and Meguey Baker I know have run the game for entire rooms at cons.  I don’t know exactly the details of how it works, but I know that they’ve had at least 30+ people and have had successful games.

  2. We have one person play the ghosts and everyone else play the explorer all together. One explorer player handles the book; the rest vote on the voteable questions, and take turns on the (few) others. It’s easy as anything and works very, very well. We’ve played with rooms as small as 5 or 6 and as large as 50 or 60.

  3. I’ve found the only group size it doesn’t really work for is 4 – play two parallel games of one-on-one instead!

I’ve written about running Audience Participation Murderous Ghosts; I’ll see if I can find the post.
