  1. Tim, if there’s no other character that has the equipment, I’m all for it. If there is one though, I’ll have to consider it. It might be one of the things the player feels make their character unique or special.

    So, wait until session start and after players have introduced characters. Have a few different ideas ready 🙂

    Or wait until you need a specific kind of gear to announce that “you always had it lying around in your workshop” 😉

  2. Because the distance between a savvyhead and ANY piece of equipment, no matter how abnormal, is “sure, no problem, but…”

    “Hey, come to think of it, brain relay schmain schmelay. Could I make, like, a device that allows me to temporarily invade other people’s brains and drive their bodies around while they watch, helpless, screaming?”
