Question about battlebabe’s move dangerous & sexy.

last game time I had a player that wanted to use the move:

a)in the middle of a firefight with an enemy engaged with him to have his attention.

And

B) to tell a guy that was threatening him with a shotgun something like “give me the shotgun” like it was a charm spell.

My calls were A: yes, B: no.

What’s your experience about situations like this?

  1. To be precise in case B, that’s what was happening:

The guy with the rifle is on the roof of a bus, the battlebabe climbs up the bus and use the move d&s, I told her: the guy tell you to stop, don’t come closer, and take a few step backwards. Wthat do you do?

Player: I keep going toward him, talking to him.

mc: he reachs the end of the bus, but he is paying attention only to you and doesn’t notice that is going to fall from the bus if he make another step…

  2. Lenny Pacelli, that is an awesome scene, and even with a battle raging on the battlebabe jumping on the roof of the bus in plain sight is a very cool trigger for D&S

  3. Yeah, I agree, here. (B) is just not what Dangerous and Sexy does. All it says is that they look at you and can’t break eye contact until you do. To me, that means you have their attention, you can probably distract them, MAYBE keep them from acting if acting requires them to be paying lots of attention to something that isn’t you, and nothing else.

  4. Alberto Muti thank you, I didn’t want to spoil what the player was trying to do, but at the same time I didn’t want to give him something he can’t legitimately have.

I just rolled with the unpredictability of the fiction, as it unfolded!
