There are plenty of reasons World mechanic wise, but what are the pros and cons that you can think of coming from WoD?

I tell you what, this would make Tim Franzke happier!

  1. I would say 40% of them are good, so maybe it is redoing them all and removing the +1/-1 for more fictional. I look at the Vampire ones and I am quite pleased with the set.

  2. Tommy Rayburn I have to agree, I think if they were more fictional base, such as the vampiric set it would be more fun. Also if the Bonuses/Penalties were optional (per MC).

  3. Anton Dominic, I am hoping I can talk Chris Riexax and yourself into taking over this part of the project (since John Layton is doing Demon, Sarah Richardson is doing Changeling, and I am both helping her and doing an entire book balance.)

Both of you have become better at move writing, as well as Chris Riexax having an extensive knowledge of WoD. You guys can be Task Force Penalty Rework.

I don’t know about it being optional, but it should be relevant. This is what says Malkavian’s are both crazy and enlightened or that Caitiff’s have less abilities, but can also choose how they want. Being optional removes a very big part of what makes them part of the group, but it does not need to be more of the fictional/fun rather than +1/-1 stat or rapport.

  4. Tommy Rayburn sounds good to me, I will hop on skype in a bit to see if Chris is around. And we can exchange ideas for different B/Ps that need to be altered.

When I mentioned being optional, I mean specifically for the MC to choose for their entire game. Not like, Malks get their b/p but werewolves don’t.

    Just over all.

But I get what you mean about it adding to fiction of the story rather than creating more clutter of +1/-1.

  5. Anton Dominic, I think that the B/P should be forced, but we need to get rid of it being called a B/P and make it as a trait. As my example earlier, Tremere’s get a Workshop, not because of a bonus, but because they are Tremere and they just have those kind of resources. Malkavian’s have both an enlightenment and madness, not because the rules say so but that is what makes them Malkavian.

I think that is what we need to achieve, try to mechanically represent some traits that make each group separate than another.

  6. Hey, I’ve been kinda aware of this, not certain on what exactly it is you want me to be working on, but I work 12 hour shifts on the weekend, hence my silence lol
