Hello peoples, I thought I’d introduce myself to the group. I’m Joe (waves). I’m currently working on two AW hacks.

The first is nearly ready for launch (we are just going into alpha-test now). It’s basically a dark satire based on British TV thrillers. I’ve already put a call our for alpha testers via StoryWeaver, but if you are a fan of shows such as Spy, Spooks and Murphy’s Law , I’d be happy to share ideas and put you on the beta-testers list. 🙂

The second game is a very black parody of Americana Colonialism. One person described it as answering the question of what would have happened if Warhammer 40k had been developed in America in the early 80’s. Think diesel punk meets George Orwell. We are a long way from having this work completed, but the development play throughs have been fun… well, full of mayhem anyway.

  1. Here’s some more background on our game about British TV thrillers

The game is heavily based on relationships and involves players taking on the roles of each others’ family members to tell stories about decidedly average people who are coerced into working for an unnamed organisation that carries out acts of espionage.

  2. Hey Meguey,

For the former Spy game, yes, but for the later diesel punk game, not yet.  In fact, I am just putting out a call for three additional alpha play test groups. So of you respond to that, you’ll be in with the trend-setters!  😉

  3. To clarify, I’ve got enough game design work going on that I’m not able to playtest other stuff right now. But if you’ve got a playbook or the GM’s principles or the like, I’d like to see it.
