Hey, sorry if I’m missing something obvious, but how is everyone making such professional looking custom skins?

Hey, sorry if I’m missing something obvious, but how is everyone making such professional looking custom skins? Is there an InDesign template or something like that floating around?

  1. Yeah, I’m poor, so InDesign isn’t an option for me. GIMP is a useful (and free) tool for creating background graphics, but the main program I use for playbook construction is Scribus (also free). It’s difficult to use, but you either are patient and get used to it or you create something crappy and give up.

I have a template for use Scribus, I don’t know if it will work for InDesign, but if that’s the program you have then you could try it: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9cu0IVYfHtiTWQzM1VhOHZiMFE/edit

  2. Oh, awesome! Thank you so much! InDesign apparently doesn’t play nice with it, but I totally don’t mind downloading Scribus if it means I get to pretty up my skins. 😀
