Wow! Just wow!
Pro tip: The Meddling Kid can pick “dog” as a looks option, and the Sidekick gets to pick one of their hero’s options. Thus, two dogs on the hunter team.
I do not condone use of this technique to make your Sidekick Scrappy-Doo.
Just added the Summoned to the pack, now that I’ve had a chance to confirm that it’s okay with Steve Hickey
Man, the Summoned was an absolute beast in the last game I ran. Granted though, it was a convention one shot.
The Summoned is great fun.
Awesome moment: The Summoned choosing to mark off a point of Luck, triggering one of their signs of the Apocalypse (opening a portal to Hell and his legion of demon soldiers) to show a fairly human vampire that he and his team meant business. 🙂
Oh, and I should also mention that there are a few fan-made ones that can be found in nerdwerds’ collection of all the AW & hacks playbooks: http://nerdwerds.blogspot.co.nz/2012/12/all-of-playbooks.html
Michael Sands, I took the pack on DriveThruStuff, but I cannot see the summoned in it. Is it all right?
Yep, but remember Michael Sands in the past said that, obviously, this move has to make sense with the fiction.
So if I have physical holy fists to justify the Smite move, and I’m fighting against an incorporeal ghost, my Smite move will be useless (unless we established that those holy fists hit also incorporeal entities).
Daniele Di Rubbo, it definitely seems to be present from my side. Did you purchase before or after I added it?
You can the Summoned from http://nerdwerds.blogspot.co.nz/2012/12/all-of-playbooks.html in any case.
I purchased it before. But it’s strange because if you added it after I bought it, it should appear in the updated version. I really don’t know why…
Hm… I was under the impression it should just work – there’s certainly no setting from my end that seems to apply.
Perhaps you could “purchase” it again for $0.0 and see if that updates the files for you? I realise that you can get the Summoned anyhow, but I’d appreciate if you tried it (as I want to add more playbooks to the bundle later).
You were right! I did as you said and I managed to get the summoned too.
Oh, cool!
