Anyone have any thoughts on PCs developing different kinds of Workspaces that they may not start out with? I could easily see an Immortal having/wanting one, and possibly a Hunter, vampire, etc. as well. I don’t want to detract from the specialness of a veteran or Wizard having one, but I suspect that for some character concepts it would work as well.

Hey Andrew. We already added this into the Archetypes. For example, the Hunter gains access to a Workspace advance in later advances. The Immortal gets a Library, Oracle gets a Sanctum, etc.
We definitely feel the theme of a Workspace fits into many of the Archetypes really well!! 🙂
Andrew Medeiros That’s great to hear, I guess I need to read up on the later Advances. I have not yet had a chance to take the game for a spin in actual play, so I was just looking at the Archetypes as starting characters. Thanks!
Well not everyone can have everything. That is what keeps the Playbooks apart.
Eh, if it fits the fiction, I’d just give them one. If they collected a library of evil tomes over the course of the game and wanted to use them to figure things out like a workspace, well they’ve already paid the narrative tithe.
Andrew Byers, I agree with Tim Franzke … you want separation. But remember you can take an advancement that gives you a move from another playbook. So every player has the chance to gain a Workplace using that advancement if they wish.
I have been trying to get get Andrew Medeiros to just make it the move for the Aware and the Sanctum for the Wizard, so less Workspace moves. If you want that move …. take it, but otherwise let Vampires be Vampires.
