Superhero Movie Soundtracks?
Ignoring the wiseass’ed-ness of the comment. 🙂 Yeah they’re all a bit too recognisable to make it feel like your own soundtrack I think. Looking for something less well known I suppose.
Batman Arkham games and their original soundtracks are great.
Might have to see what Guardians soundtrack is like as the lads are after epic galactic adventures
Lots of other epic galactic adventure type movies have good original soundtracks. Look through sci fi movies and composers. I’d use Event Horizon stuff for scary moments, and Serenity for Big Damn Hero ones for example and mix and mash to fit my games theme.
The Van Helsing soundtrack kinda works, depending.
Also, i use Tabletop Audio for a lot of cool soundfx stuff. It’s got some background noise that works well for a lot of things.
Oh, and the soundtrack to The Rock could work.
