Question, if I am making a setting for WiP and I have hero npcs do I make them like you do a villain or like a PC…

Question, if I am making a setting for WiP and I have hero npcs do I make them like you do a villain or like a PC with bonds and all so a player could potentially use the npc hero.

If they are made like a PC how do I create a number of bonds when I dont have a player group as a base? Does that make sense. ..

  1. Ok sounds good. So if they were in say a wiP module you just transfer tne npc data to a pc sheet and fill in missing parts from thier background description and the player group. Is that what you’re saying?

  2. It’d definitely depend on what role you have them playing in the city. If you say that you want them to be usable by other players in some form of troupe play, then you’d probably want to do them up as a hero but until then, as David says, I’d try to keep it as easy on myself as possible with a simple villain stat block to give me an idea of motivations and powers.
