I remember passing on the Kickstarter for financial reasons, but I might pick up the ebook at some point! I don’t have any particular attachment to Kamala, to be honest.
That article is rough tho, man. Things seems be changing now a bit, but so many ex-wrestlers from the 80s and 90s have financial and health troubles, it breaks my heart.
That’s sad. I kind of forgot about Kamala. He was sort of on the B-list of heels in terms of star power, but he was a pretty regular fixture back when I was watching wrestling. I remember the whole “Kamala fears Jake the Snake’s snake bag” shtick.
I never really knew too much about Jerry Lawler’s promotion, interesting stuff.
