  1. I knew he was showing up. He looks old in all that AAA quality lighting and camera work. He is old. I marked out like a kid. I fucking adored this debut and I totally freaked.

  2. Steve Segedy the church of the little Stingers is officially open for business!

(Context: Sting is the only main-even caliber wrestler from the 80s and 90s to never work for WWF/WWE, so this is his long-anticipated will-he-won’t-he debut, basically)

  3. Gotta watch this.

Sting was my all time fave. I even hung on to the old Sting Unmasked VHS that I have; even though I don’t have anything that can play it.

  4. Sting was pretty big back in the day, then a strange contractual issue made him the hottest thing going. He wrestled pretty much every show for his employer and it meant that he was soon going to hit his maximum contracted number of days in a year. So, the boss stopped him wrestling. They had him disappear and come back with the Crow type of gimmick. He sat in the rafters. Didn’t speak. For over a year! And it made him the hottest thing in wrestling in the late 90s. You see the pop when he does for the Scorpion Death Drop? Less is more. This guy has “it” in spades.

  5. Myself, my sister, and my brother-in-law were all watching the main event after eating dinner through most of the middle of the event. I think a knife flew across the room as we all marked the F out when that caw hit the tron.
