Would anyone be interested in a limited-run Hangouts game, say on Wednesday evenings?

Would anyone be interested in a limited-run Hangouts game, say on Wednesday evenings?

Would anyone be interested in a limited-run Hangouts game, say on Wednesday evenings? Call it a familiarization game, and a chance for me to brush up on my GM’ing skills in general.

I’m thinking a single, fairly short arc, wrapping up in maybe four sessions or so (give or take character creation, if that takes a session on its own). Sessions about 3-4 hours each. More focus on action than drama.

…Okay basically, let’s shoot for a Nextwave vibe. Anyone interested?

  1. Three interested parties, excellent!Richard Evans, you said you’d be out “in a couple of weeks.” If you could give a date, I’ll set up an event to kick things off the Wednesday following that.

  2. Well, if it’s not going to be for another couple of weeks that gives me a chance to read the draft PDF and get a feel for the rules. (I suspect being a *World hack it won’t be hard to pick up on the fly, but figure I’d better do the reading anyway.)

  3. Sorry for being so quiet, work can be a hindrance sometimes, I’m away Wednesday 28 January (attending Conception in the UK & hopefully running some Worlds)

As a general rule for next couple of weeks I’m home by half 6/7pm UK time.

How does that fit with everyone else?

  4. Works for me. I’m out of the house right now, but I’ll set up the event for Wednesday after next when I get home.

Call it 8pm GMT to give everyone time to get settled in and such when ya get back home.

  5. Julius Müller That is a shame, and I blame you not a lick for passing in that instance. Would shorter sessions help at all? Say, something like two hours, so ending at I believe 11pm your time?

  6. yeah, I could do 2 hours.

I could also start an hour earlier.

But 2 weeks are still alot of time maybe I get used to my early rising till then. (I just started this week into a new project)
