  1. Layout wise, I’m not a fan of the different text sizes; the type size and typeface should be standardised across the whole document.

    I think some of the moves need to be rewritten or cleaned up.

    NPCs never roll dice, so I really don’t care for Living Weapon. Why not word it like this:

    “When someone uses you as an instrument of destruction, you count as a 3 harm weapon.” That allows NPCs to use you without rolling.

    The part about spending Strings on your wielder or your wielder spending Strings on you is kind of messy. I had to read it several times to understand that you didn’t spend Strings on the target. Why not make that a separate move? Like this:

    “When being used as a weapon, you may spend Strings on your wielder, or your wielder may spend Strings on you to:

    – add 1 to their roll;

    – add 1 to the harm you deal.

    Addictive is a decent move.

    When do the Weapon and the wielder ever gain a String on each other? Connected doubles the number of Strings gained, but only if you’re being used as a weapon, and only between you and your wielder. I don’t see any time that would happen (unless I’m missing something), making this seem like a move that does nothing.

    I don’t like Semi-Autonomous because again, NPCs never roll. If you’re going to keep this, you need to indicate that PCs may roll with your Volatile, but that NPCs act at an Advantage.

    The NPC trigger for Learn Together seems wrong. As written, you’d only gain an XP when used by an NPC if your Volatile was highlighted and if they gained a String on you. But again, I don’t see how the Weapon and the wielder ever gain Strings on each other while the Weapon is being used.

    Why not have *Bravery With Others care about the number of other people supporting you, rather than their Cold score? That would avoid the whole “NPCs have a Cold of 0 problem”.

    The trigger for Don’t Leave Me seems wildly overpowered. As written, the Weapon just has to walk up to someone and say “Use me.” and have them refuse for it to trigger.
