I pulled an engineer out of one of those super-luxe arcologies down in Antarctica. Of course we ended up hiking out, lost a few toes. The new ones are shiny, though.
Thanks Josh! It’s in the game!
I had just hacked into his system, you rez? And then my wheelman was hit rolling over and over. It broke the connection knocking me out. I came to and the SECURITECH Bulls were on us like white on nori.
My motley group took out a drug lord in the ruins of California. The sniper rounds didn’t penetrate the safety glass, so they hit his convoy with a carbomb as he left the place.
So my crew was hired by this big time exec for one of those Hyper-Corps, not business mind you personal. Seems his daughter disappears and he wanted her back. Took a bit of legwork and we had to shake down a few contacts, but eventually we scoped her with one of those new age groups. That’s when it all went pear-shaped. I’ve never seen civvies charge into machine-gun fire, and i hope never to again. We got the princess back but it’s up to daddy to deprogram her…poor bastard.

When the Killer in the group got some new cyber, he woke up to find the street doc and all the staff dead.
Turns out the Russians had stuck a bomb in with his new cyberware, and wanted him to do something for them (or kaboom).
Starting a war between Russian gangsters and yakuza to cover your tracks isn’t easy, but it’s a target-rich environment, and it is satisfying.
