  1. I liked it so much. I have all those twenty-five “flaming bastards” on my bookshelves.

Do you remember, by chance, from which sourcebook was it? I’d say from the Avenger Creedbook, but I’m not sure.

  2. Tell me if my understanding is correct: you would like to play Monster of the Week in the Hunter: The Reckoning setting?

There is a different magic mythology in Monster of the Week, but if you want to treat the Imbued just as a different kind of hunter, I’d write a new playbook. In my opinion an Imbued playbook shouldn’t have the use magic/big magic (basic) moves, but I’d write for it a new heed the Messengers move (roll +Weird, of course).

If, instead, you would like to have a party entirely made up of Imbued, I think you should change use magic and big magic with heed the Messengers for all the playbook and rewrite most of them. It will be a hell of a hack, but maybe it is worth.

P.S. About the picture, you were right. I finally managed to find it on p. 218 of the core rulebook (in chapter 8: “The Truth (Storytelling)”).

  3. No, I was just saying if someone wanted to play a HtR style character in MotW, I’d recommend the Chosen playbook.

Would make for an interesting hack though.

  4. If only my willpower and my English were better… XD

The Chosen is all about destiny and a big enemy; then, yes, according to my own experience, it would be a cool choice for an Imbued character in a Hunter: The Reckoning meets Monster of the Week game. 😉

  5. It can do a Buffy game, but it’s more than that. It can do Supernatural, X-Files, Fringe, or a whole host of other monster hunter styles. Just saying for those who might not know.
