Big wrestling weekend! I’m going to two shows, Freelance Wrestling on Friday and road tripping to La Salle IL for Dreamwave Wrestling on Saturday! This means I’m missing the AAW show that’s also on Friday, but a lot of the card (including Samoa f*cking Joe) is on the Dreamwave card, so I think that’ll be fine.
The Dreamwave card is ENORMOUS and I hope it’s booked well because there’s a non-zero chance that it’ll be overwhelming. But I’ve heard a lot of great things about the company and have been wanting to check them out for awhile.
Anyone else going to see some live wrestling soon?
I watched the Sheik biopic on Netflix last night. It was interesting.
I’ve heard lots of great things about Dreamwave, hope it lives up to the hype.
I’d be hard pressed to skip an AAW show, but then I’m not remotely local to them.
I’m toying with the idea of going to the FIP/Evolve double show this month in Orlando. It’s either this weekend or next.
I get the EVOLVE emails and the cards always look great!
Our road trip was set up before AAW announced their card, and Freelance is only 20 minutes from me versus another 1.5 hour round trip to go see AAW by myself so it lost out this time around. But yeah, their shows are pretty good generally.
Caught the NXT live event in Columbus OH and it was the most amazing thing.
Seeing NWF in Cincinnati tomorrow and then probably going to check out the Raw on Cincy in May.

Years ago. I just moved back to cincinnati from chicago. Been to a couple rockstar shows in Dayton.
Nice! I know their commentator/announcer (?) and went to a concert at the arena once (decent facility but awful place for a concert) but have yet to make it out to an RSP event.
