Hey Guys, quick question to all Creative out there If you’ve got a match between two NPW’s. How/What do you do? do you narrate it? or just sort of explain who won/why/how ? Just trying to get a vibe for this part of play, as it will come up a bit. And get a feel for how others handle it.

Either of those. Or depending how over the NPWs are with the players, let one or two of the players play them.
Not a bad thought. It’s moreso I’ve maybe planned storyline finishes and so on.
That’s fine. NPWs don’t roll dice, so you can pick up the narration and deliver your specific plot points as needed. I only did this in my game when it was obvious that one of the players really liked one of the NPW’s.
I usually just summarize the match and outcome in a few sentences, unless one of the players wants to interfere or something like that.
oh okay…. what about management’s intentions for the match? do you ever mention that. so like last session I had Cockatrice vs Egor, where the point of the match was a squash for Egor. with the intention to make the monster look strong, so they’re not useless looking monsters. for the golden boy lolcenawins against all odds in the final match with Egor and Mountain vs Owen Edwards the golden boy. with room for swerves. so summarize match and outcome. coolo.
