  1. It turns what should be a fun scene or three into a single move. Far more fun to play through most of the time. On the other hand it looks pretty good as something to store in the MC’s back pocket for fast forwarding through a scene or two.

  2. Maybe put some kind of timer on it by adding “soon” to the first two options. Or even “soon; the MC will tell you when”. Also, to be extra nasty, make the 7-9 option ” you pick one and the MC picks one”. 😉

  3. I don’t think this curtails scenes — the trigger is “drink way too much,” and while I have known people who really throw em back, I do not see this move triggering after one scene.

  4. Don’t have a roll where they can’t succeed. Make a hard move as the fiction requires or have them Keep Your Cool to beat the entire hockey team at Beer Pong.

  5. Yes, the conditions should probably be something that others percirve.

    I will replace drunk with “drinker” or “lightweight”, MC discretion, and replace “hangover” with “loser”.
