Greetings!

Greetings!

Greetings! I’m hoping to run Epyllion at Games on Demand at GenCon, and I have a couple of questions about the playbooks and basic moves:

Most of the basic moves don’t list the effects of a miss. Should we assume that, on a miss, something bad happens and the DM and players work it out in context?

Also, the DM’s moves sheet suggests that the DM can “inflict wounds (as established)” and “trade wounds (as established)”. When would a dragon receive a wound? Should the DM just assign wounds as penalties for missed moves?

  1. Refer to your hard moves on a miss, and work it out in context.

Wounds would come from physical danger. Fighting the darkness, or a dangerous physical feat.
