Today we look at The Immortal! Timeless, scheming and distant.
There can be no clearer choice in my eyes than Dorian Gray, specifically DG from Penny Dreadful: who clearly works hard on the Hedonism Scheme. 😀
Have any other thoughts for this one?

Never seen Dr Who but I’m sure he fits.
The Immortal always makes me think of Highlander, which provides a lot of choices, but I’d say Methos is probably the single best example, being both the eldest of these ageless characters and the one most deeply involved in schemes.
Robert Ruthven Not only is Jack a great example for The Immortal, but The Doctor gives a great example for the Dragon!

William Nichols I’d considered mentioning the Doctor for that one, but I really wasn’t sure. The Dragon’s just so specific.
Any of the elf leaders from Tolkien. I’d go specifically with Elrond or Galadriel, given their position as Keepers of Secret Wisdom. Though I guess they are pretty off-genre for US.
The TV series “The Librarians” features a number of immortals among its cast. Going into more detail about the more prominent ones would constitute spoilers, however.
