We’re done with Trud Gornyaka now. Our last two missions there (including one of the nasty ones) went super well, it was totally unexpected and awesome.

Of course, without planes to repair during the day we got ourselves into plenty of other trouble. There were mechanics to be calmed down after the wrecked and damaged planes of the last session, an informal interview (with the character concerned suddenly “called away” – player will be GM for the next duty station).

We had time to do the initial setup for Pashkovskaya. Looks like that is going to be crazy, we’ve set ourselves up for a lot of conflict with the 218th, beyond the already significant baseline anger.

  1. Hm, it’s been a week and a bit so I’ve forgotten a bunch of specifics. As GM, I wanted to get to know a few more of the women of the 588th, so I’d come up with names and quick descriptions of a few more women and made a point of having them get involved in the PCs’ business (the mechanics were in this category).

As they had wrecked a plane last time, I had assembling the replacement planned as a scene too. I’d written up a custom move for it, with bad consequences including things like losing a part and annoying a mechanic, and that scene kicked off a bit of fun play.

We also had a lot of airwomen reaching out to each other (including a couple of NPC airwomen we had met before) and a bunch of scrounging and general stealing of useful supplies, and booze. The reaching out scenes were pretty raw – one airwoman missing her young daughter, another revealing that she totally relies on another of the PC airwomen.
