When a character makes a Take Down move and fails, do they suffer harm/take a condition? The failure doesn’t allow the “Take no harm in the doing option,” so would they be unable to negate harm with the 6-. Or does the harm taken from the action only occur with a 7+?

  1. On a 6- the EIC makes a hard move, so it’s really their call. That might mean the PC taking damage of some kind, or it might mean something totally different (check out the list of EIC moves on the EIC sheet). I can see how since the 7+ has that choice that the 6- would have it in there implicitly, but the choice is left to the EIC.

  2. David Semmes The important thing, overall, is for the story to flow and for us to have fun. I had fun and thought the story flowed well. Sounds like a win to me. Colorista with his skating and ‘tude and Polymer with his PR speech and Hero Corps branding were a trip.
