Hi folks,
There’s some material in Shadows about running single-session games, and it’s great to get advice on how to tweak the setup for a one-shot.
However, I’m getting ready to run a three-session Shadows game, and I’m wondering if anyone has thoughts or advice on similar tweaks. Should characters start with advances and corruption? Should we bother with the start/end-of-session moves?
It’d be great to hear people’s thoughts and experiences.
Thanks!
I played a one shot at GenCon. I’d say keep start of session moves, at least for the first session (and if you need more fuel later on). Starting with some corruption marked or a corruption move would be a good idea but you might not need both.
