Just Heroes: The Styles

This is an incomplete preview of the Style sheets for Just Heroes, with the special move for each Style being the most notably missing feature.

Of course, I spoke to soon earlier when I stated I was finished doing style moves, because I forgot the four Costumes, which are half Origin and half Style.

  1. Thanks; I put it on the back burner for nearly two years while I was getting The ‘Hood and Blood & Water prepped, but the recent playtest success of Troublemakers encouraged me to have another try at it with a fresh eye.

  2. I updated the style previews this morning:

     – Rogue black bars were appearing on some of the sheets, so I did a complete reformatting of the document to get rid of them (hopefully.)

     – I realised that the special moves which trigger when you entrust someone with your secret identity were better associated with origins than styles, so they will be written for the origins soon.

     – In the place where each style’s special move would have been, I’ve put in a check-list you can use to track which of the basic moves you have advanced for your hero!

  3. So I’m curious. What program do you use to design your character sheets, James Mullen? I’m working on my  game and my sheets just look godawful in part because of hte program I’m using (also the skill level I have)

  4. Honesty, I just use Microsoft Word: I’ve had years of practice with it now, so even though its not the best writing/design software, I know the ins & outs of it well enough to get a reasonable result.
