I put together of some of the teams that work well ported into a game of Worlds in Peril. I could only think of 10 off the top of my head, anyone have any other ideas?

  1. I think Support Group is a really interesting premise for a super team (hence why I ran with that for my first Worlds in Peril campaign).

The heroes are thrust together because they’re the only people who understand what they’re all dealing with, and that gives them a reason to stand together when the villain comes calling. This gives you some of the drama elements really popular and common in X-Men, and can create teams with really tightly developed (or delightfully complicated) bonds, while leaving plenty of blank space for personal character development that is sometimes lacking from an actual family or official team unit.

The support group model can be seen in early Runaways, the first volume of Young Avengers, and the unfortunately short run of Slingers.
