Our Greenlight proof finally arrived from Drive Thru Cards and it looks great! Super excited to finally have an actual finished game in front of me. Eric Ahlgren and I need to tweak all the things in the DTC storefront and make sure stuff connects up to the Wheel Tree Press site, but we will definitely have this available for folks to snatch up by next week.

In the meantime, gimme your best Exorcist Christmas Special pitch. It better have both zazz and sizzle plus some major star power, or we’re gonna go with the Hellraiser Hannukah Hour.

  1. Claymation Rudolph (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) must work with Ebeneezera Scrooge (played by Tilda Swinton) to defeat the Ghost of Christmas Past (Richard E. Grant) who has possessed “Tiny” Tim Cratchit (Daniel Radcliffe) and stolen Santa’s Christmas magic in a bid to destroy Christmas forever. In the end, they discover that the Ghost really just wants to stop haunting people because it feels sad and doesn’t enjoy its work.

Probably needs more scares and less claymation.

  2. 1980s TV special: Bob Cratchitt (Allen Thicke)’s daughter Tiny Tam (Kim Fields) is possessed by the angry demon Pazuzu. Exorcist and old crank Ebenezer Scrooge (Tim Conway) has to show the demon the true meaning of Christmas with the help of three spirits played by JoAnn Worley, Artie Johnson, and Vincent Price. Musical guests the REO Speedwagon sing The Little Drummer Boy, and Sheena Easton sings a reverent and solemn O Holy Night. Paul Linde is the special guest star voice of the demon.

  3. Just found Greenlight on DriveThruCards. It’s on my wishlist. One question I have about this rule: “The winning Producer receives one point and the Style and Property cards of their winning pitch.”

What do you do with these extra cards? It doesn’t sound like the property cards go back in your hand. Do they just act as point counters or do you just them for inspiration for future pitches?
