Awesome. Can you tell ne when it will be available to external playtesters? I’m itching to run it, I know it would go down really well at my local meetup.
Marissa Kelly Sorry, I know I keep asking, I’m just so excited about this project. Will keep the dogs in their traps until more details emerge 🙂
Marissa Kelly Thanks!
This game is terrifying and I can’t wait to get it.
Cool, I was waiting for the rest!
One question springs to my mind, is Bluebeard’s Bride mostly a GM’s game?
Listening to the actual play I get the impression that the players don’t talk very much except to comment the fiction on a
meta level, but maybe it has more to do with your GMing-style than with the game itself?
Vivien Feasson My opinion as one of the creators is that no, it’s not mostly a GM game. How much we hear players talk has a lot to do with set, setting, experience level, and their comfort level with each other. I know that when I GM this game I am most pleased when I can take the opportunity to step back while the players wildy run with something.
Vivien Feasson It’s definitely Gm’s style, like Strix was saying, but it can depend a lot on how the table acts as well.
Thank you both for your answer!
