I saw posted here or in DW Tavern not long ago, a fairly exhaustive list of effects a Move might have (roll, use a different stat for another move, add a choice to a move, etc), to aid in hacking.  Anyone have a link readily available?

  1. Don’t have the link but I’ll just spam ideas. These are for advanced moves that bolster existing moves. Add certain requirements or costs to powerful effects to make them cooler and more balanced.

    Reroll a move

    Treat a 7-9 as a 10+

    Treat a 6- as a 7-9

    Gain +1 to a roll

    Roll with advantage (roll 3d6 and discard the lowest)

    Reroll one of the d6s of your roll

    gain a minimum hold even on a miss

    Choose one fewer negative options

    Choose one more positive option

    Always gain a certain positive option as a bonus

    Roll with a different stat for a move

    Automatically roll a 10+ on a move

    Roll with a d8 and a d6

    Have a move’s bonus also apply to one or more allies
