I have been doing some “upstream research” by loaning Apocalypse World from my local library. I knew the game was in the library and I decided to loan it because Hamish mentioned in another post about experience in that game. It really seems like it is good idea to read the Apocalypse World (I have not yet read it completely) if you are new to PbtA games like me.

This really helped me understand how Threat Clocks work by simply seeing couple of examples of those clocks. So, to make The Sprawl even more stand alone product I would suggest to add some visual examples of Threat clocks for example, if possible.

  1. In this case especially the Apocalypse World as all other PtbA games lean more or less on that one even when they are stand alone products.

Yeah, it’s a good library with a decent section of RPGs.
