So I’ve got DW. Now I’m looking at RPGNow and there seems to be few very nice pbta games. Here’s the ones I’m interested into. Which one of your opinion is a must buy? I’m also open to suggestions! Thanks!

Do you own Apocalypse World and Monsterhearts already? Those are my top two. 🙂
Nah! Apparently I need to wait for 2nd edition to get AW!! Monsterhearts doesn’t appeal to me.
You’re missing out on a lot by not picking up Monsterhearts.
“Doesn’t appeal to me “is totes legit. “Why would anybody want to play that?!?” is not legit. To each their own!
That said, what factors are you weighing between those three? They are really different games. If you want something with a touch of Pendragon’s sense of epic scale, probably Legacy. If you want comic-book mayhem, probably Worlds in Peril. If you want “AW but in space”, then Uncharted Worlds.
Monster of the Week
I can recommend uncharted worlds. But don’t own the others. For me monster of the week is a must have.
I think Uncharted Worlds is my favorite PbtA based game, because of how it merges some Traveller stuff.
Worlds in Peril is great if you want comic book antics. Uncharted Worlds has you covered for Firefly, The Foundation, Star Trek, and Star Wars… It’s super useful, and has supplements in the works to make it even better.
This is the toughest question I’ve seen about PbtA. I like them all (I wrote Thrilling Powers! for WiP, backed UW on KS and found Legacy a few months ago). If you want something that’s easy to learn, UW probably has the simplest rules, especially for combat. Setting creation there can get involved, so just make sure to use the random tables and keep going. Legacy has more bookkeeping than most, but it’s not a whole lot more. The playbooks are all very distinct and support the setting. WiP is the game system I would use if I were to run a story similar to the Arrow TV show.
