  1. After looking in to it myself earlier last month, getting the PDF+Hardback from Magpie direct only cost about 5USD in shipping. That made it one of the best, if not the best options for getting it. Even when compared to ordering it from Leisure Games.

The only downside, was shipping time. It took about 2 weeks before I got an email telling me my hardcopy had been dispatched. And another week or so for it to arrive.

Take home is, want it fast, get it from LG. Don’t mind waiting a bit, get it direct from Magpie.

  2. A bit late but I concur. I live in France and had a lot of options to buy it either in a LGS or a French online retailer. But ordering it from Magpie was stupid cheap. I don’t think I was ever in the situation where ordering from an american retailer would cost less in product + shipping than getting it from a French retailer.

And it’s not as if you’ll feel like “killing small honest shops by ordering on Amazon instead”, because you’re buying straight from the authors 😀

  3. I think I will order it next week sometime , its got some great ideas I want to use. & I really like the concepts of the game , its certainly been very well produced I’m going to go for the soft cover edition , its great that Magpie give away the PDF , UK price on line are ridiculous to be fair Magpie are reasonable & feasible. , plus’s you get free PDF’s I shall no doubt be another satisfied customer.

    In the coming weeks.

  4. The softcover is very good quality, and there’s something to be said about a book that’ll be a bit flexible when you carry it around. I don’t know why I’d get a hardcover that would get easily damaged and warped.

  5. Matt just had a look it says the soft cover is out of stock though the hardcover was £26.99, didn’t mention anything about the free PDF’s include but I did only have a quick look.

The soft cover was £14.99 which is a great price may hang on for them to get some more in.
