Thanks! It was a photo from a festival. I tossed it into GIMP, ran the Threshold filter, did some smoothing and enhance work and then just picked on bits with a black or white brush as seemed appropriate. Looking at the original AW artwork it’s easy to see it’s not a perfect match, but I like it, and I’m happy you do too.
About the only differences really are the angular vector shapes in the AW pieces, and a bit more white space. The really great aspect of your piece is the hard contrast that still manages reliability. All of the parts are distinct from one another, which is the hardest part of a pure B&W piece..
