  1. I suspect this doesn’t really count, but I played a Ghost who may, very well, have just been a hapless young man with delusional memories of trauma, who was really good at comforting people. The MC seemed pretty skeptical of his supernatural explanation, and he certainly had no way to prove anything. To this day I’m not sure.

  2. I really liked the Serpentine, I played it as a member of a family cult of dragon blooded sorcerors, which seems almost a basic interpretation.

I am currently playing a Proxy who summoned creatures believing they were something else. Lots of fun but like the Chosen can have a big effect on game themes and arc.

  3. Part of second skins, it’s sort of about wanting to disappear, moves that let you vanish or go overlooked or unnoticed. (But some solid reasons for other characters to seek you out)

  4. I’ve had a lot of fun with the Second Skins (of which I’ve played the Selkie, the Cuckoo, the Unicorn, the Sasquatch, and the Neighbor). The latter two feature a couple of my favorite skin moves.

I’ve also played The Angel, which, while fun enough, strikes me as kind of an odd one out among the skins. I’d like to give it another go sometime, to see if my impression changes.

I’ve personally never played a Serpentine, but I’ve MC’d for one, and the player seemed to have a really good time with it.
