  1. Use the conduct an operation examples from the mc sheets. Chose who is hiring them to do it an what is the target. Throw together a few mission moves and maybe a threat and you should have a good place to start.

  2. You can look into a few of the older Shadowrun modules and break down the key components and then work from there. Put your own spin on it and I don’t see a problem, especially if you’re new to the system.

  3. The missions depend a lot on the playbooks your PCs choose. But here are a few off the top of my head:

Hostile Extraction: Team has to “recruit” someone who does not want to be recruited. Corporate warfare is all about having the brightest minds working for you or at least not working for the competition.

Smuggling: The team has to smuggle things between secure areas.

Investigation: There is some mysterious item (ie. mind control chip or weird tech virus) that the PC’s are hired to track down. Should be a series of them finding leads and clues which inevitably lead them to fuckville.

Weapons Platform: Someone built a huge rail gun that sits in geosynchronous orbit. Someone else wants it to fall out of the sky.

Gang War: PCs are hired to start a gang war. Probably as a distraction for something more sinister.

Lost Loved One: Someone had their friend/relative kidnapped by some corporation who rounds people up for human experimentation. They are paying you (somehow) to help recover the person they care about.

Dedicated Response Team: A famous hacker has been dicking up a corporate system and their sysops can’t stop the hacker. They hire the team to prevent the hacks, trace the hacker, and go grab him/her… alive.

Well, that’s all I have for ideas. But remember: as MC you just need to create vectors for action. I don’t plan all the mission directives until my players (through their world building and choices) give me an idea of what kind of a mission they want to do. Good luck.
