Let’s share the idea how to make a difference between Power Profile categories (Simple/Difficult/Borderline) in fiction.

For example, I have used these technique :

– Making harsher EIC move or Giving a harsher condition when players roll 6- if they tried diffcult stuff. (If a hero failed a simple thing, I just decided he suffered small problems, but If a hero failed a borderline thing, I decided he failed badly)

– Giving heroes a condition which limit their power, so they have less chance to use diffcult power. (“Your battlesuit’s power percentage has dropped below 50%, You can’t use Unibeam now.”)

– Suggest a much more dangerous situation when players try to do difficult stuff. (You can shoot the trick arrow… But you have to take the advantageous position first, so you have to pass through the minions.)

– Describe Heroes success on a large scale if he succeeds at diffcult stuff.
