Man, Smackdown last night had some ups and downs for me.
High: Alexa Bliss, Ambrose promo, Cena’ s promo after Ambrose came out, Miz taking the main event spot, Miz walking away from Ziggler and Bryan
Low: Main Event Finish. Cena’s promo before Ambrose came out.
Seriously, Miz is super hot right now, why force him to lose clean via Cena.
Have Ambrose turn on Cena in the match and give the heels the win, or have Ziggler come out to distract Miz to give one of the faces the win.
We just needed a reminder that Cena is better than everyone, and therefore bland and boring.
An idea for a possibly interesting angle just popped into my head. Cena loses a big multi-man match because of the action of some random mid-carder. The mid-carder doesn’t actually get the elimination but sets up someone big.
A month or so later, Cena gets sucked into a tag match against said mid-carder. Again Cena loses, but the mid-carder doesn’t get the pin.
Stuff like this continues quietly for a couple months where this guy is just Cena’s bad luck charm until the mid-carder announces that he has “solved” Cena. Cena still tramples everyone else, but this one guy he just can’t beat.
Finally belts are on the line and Cena is defending against this mid-carder. Cena loses clean and drops the belt. But then shenanigans and the mid-carder loses the belt.

Yeah, the problem is we’ve seen Cena be great and interesting. But that’s usually when he is not in the main event picture.
