What sounds better? Alchemast, or Alchitect? This is a sci-fi/fantasy space alchemist/engineer with magic and tech. I’m on the fence.

Technalchemist.

But if the two, Alchitect is definitely a more sound neologism. Alchemast leaves me wondering if you mixed up a vowel somehow, while Alchitect reads as a clear blend of two words.
Alchemologist
Syncretist? I know I’m reaching.
Techemist
Alchemancer.
Chemitect
Technomancer
Good input, thanks everybody! Re: mancers, I already have one of those: Astromancer.
I think I also like alchitect more the more I chew on it. I just liked Fallen Empires with its mesmerast.
Alchitect does evoke “architect” in a nice way
It may be a bit picky, but I think Alchetect would be a better conflation. Alternatively maybe “Alchineer”?
