Just practical ones: space on the sheet, time to read options, selection fatigue.
Also Cyberlegs (and most other cyberwear they don’t have starting access to) don’t particularly harmonize with the Killer’s sonata of violence.
Counterpoint: Rose McGowan’s machine gun leg from Grindhouse or Gazelle’s knife prosthetics from Kingsmen.
Oh for sure. Or Han Daehan’s rocket launcher leg from Ehrgeiz, while we’re at it. Just talking how the option works in The Sprawl, not casting aspersions on battle legs as a concept.
You could take the more machine than meat move at character creation and get cyberlegs that way. Or if your MC is ok with it you could have simple cosmetic replacement legs, that don’t do anything special. Then add upgrades/tags during play.
