  1. Thanks all! Out in January, I hope, and totally system agnostic, so useable by any self-respecting cyberpunk GM, regardless of rules preference. 😉

  2. Playing around with this to create interacting factions. Made a group of eight and 4 of them were street fighters. I rolled a die between the 8 to figure out whom the last table connected them to and what it created was a ring of Street Fighters and their connections to the Underground. Most of it centers around Chosen Terror, Street Fighters whom manufacture their own needle-guns and flechette weapons, and how they either trade their weapons with dumpster divers and hackers, or use them to threaten gangs and other competition. Most interesting to me were Radical Kidz, who could be a Street Fighting Hacker as an individual rather than a tribe; and the Polymer Kids (Buddah-faced Political Gaurdians specializing in smash and grab jobs, for money and fire arms) who are targeting the rival of their ally for dumpster diving territory and in a turf-war with the Subway Clowns, another street fighting group.

  3. Geist, it seems like these are really good for coming up with a sandbox atmosphere by populating it with threats. I absolutely find it engaging,

I just generated Crosstown Hammer, Rag Enshrouded Tech Junkie Boosters running their own minifactory for the weapons. They are concerned with employment and harbor a exile or outcast from a wealthy and powerful family, Catherine McAlister, the head of the Biodivision R&D at Health First and do so as part of their employment with the same corporation. Screaming Army, a group of militant, couture stealing Boosters whose finical and legal backing allow them to engage in extreme road race stunts. They owe money to Miguel Fernadez, a tech dealer for Honda-Davidson Vehicular Drones, who runs an illegal street clinic. They are being destroyed by rival gang, Subway Assassins. These Ubermensch Chromers obsess over Olivia October, using the neural boosting drugs and intellectual sims to go deeply into the music, which is always playing around them. They robbed Health First pharmacies to get a hold of a dangerous narcotic.

    Threat: Crosstown Minifacory Hammer (Place)

Description: minor cottage industry for hand made weapons under the notice of proffessional competetion under the control of the Crosstown Hammers.

    Goals: to fustrate

    Threat: Catherine McCalister (Loner)

Description: A rotund woman with a elegant demeanor hiding a sarcastic tongue. She believes the board is hostile to her, but is afraid to leave. She has been working on Crosstown Hammer as one of their Bio projects.

    Goal:to misdirect

    Threat: Screaming Army (Group)

    Threat: Subway Assassins

    Goal: to destroy

    Threat: Olivia October (Loner)

Description: Pale and Sullen female celeb musician stylish but poorly groomed, overweight and dirty who sings with a raspy voice. Her music is often used in ways to insite violence.

If this was the opening set-up of game I’d have two plot lines to follow, McAlister + Crosstown Hammer +Health First, and Screaming Army vs. Subway Assassins.

  4. Elliott Canada That’s fantastic and is exactly the way I intended Augmented Reality to be used. I’m really glad it’s proving to be so useful. And thanks for taking the time to let me know!
