  1. Not bad at all, I would say.

I’m not a fan of the stat-substitution moves, but this one (Gun Kata) is specific enough that I don’t mind (others will probably think it’s too weak).

“Oh how primitive” would need to be spelled out better – “Any time you use technology and roll at least 7+ on a move relying on that technology, …” or some such. (?)

“Been there, done that” is fine. Thematic, helpful for player and keeper.

“Think four dimensional” is interesting, what with the retro-active positioning and the weird past-future tenses. Could work as written – except for the luck point. The effects are largely too weak to be worth a luck point, I feel. In the best case, you save the party’s butt by having opened a door; in the worst case, you spend a luck point to skip over really interesting parts of the mystery. Not sure.

“Time Warp” – this is fascinating, because I tried something similar in a Call of Cthulhu game once; but this is difficult to play properly, I feel. Have you tested this?

“Temporal Echo” – I think better questions could be found. The idea is good, but make it weirder.

The secret agenda is again intriguing and seems challenging to get just right – “push hunters to their limit” should happen in each and every mystery; “make them fall in love and have a kid” would for many players hardly fit the game and the genre. Tough, really.

  2. 1. Yeah at first I thought I would choose +Cool but that would be to strong so I settled for weird.

    2. yeah.. I should bring in that you have to roll. (done)

    3. Yeah. Building “think 4-Dimensional” is a hard one. I could limit it to a number of times per mystery instead of Luck points. Not sure though.

    4. Not yet but since the time frame is really short and you can’t change yourself it should be weak enough to work.

    5. Temporal Echo. Yeah.. It is not that easy to find time related Questions if you have some Suggestions I am listening.

  3. Vincent Shine FYI: your other post got stuck in the moderation bucket, and I didn’t spot it until today. I hit okay on it so you shouldn’t get caught again, but also deleted it so all the discussion stays on this version.
