I listened to the gauntlet podcast and read the kickstarter explanation and I have a question about the gender that is corrupted by the Shadow.
You said that Women and non-binary femme are unaffected by the shadow. Does that mean that if you have female chromosomes you are not affected?
Trans gender would still be affected if they have male chromosomes right ?
Everyone is susceptible to The Shadow eventually, but for the purposes of the setting, men seem to be quickly taken by it’s power while others can resist/hold out for longer. It has nothing to do with chromosomes and everything to do with a person’s gender identity, essentially who they are in essence, not in body. Does that make sense?
