  1. officially no. I think the book describes it as ‘an everytown that is wherever you want it to be.’

    PbtA games aren’t the type of game to assign something that precise, because they push for narrative freedom.

  2. Our group debated on a couple possible locations including the moon and ended up settling on it being a floating city originally built by silver age heroes off the coast of southern California.

  3. Being European here I’ve actually placed Halcyon City on the French coast, in an alternate version of La Rochelle, much expanded and developed compared to our real version of it. It puts it fairly central in the world, with lots of variation in its surrounding area. Given my universe takes a divergence from ours around World War 2 due to the implication of powered people and super-forces the placement of a futuristic and prominent city in France felt right, without resorting to a place like Paris that my players would perhaps be able to imagine in its current form a little too well.
