Version 1.1 and 1.0 differences

First off, I’d like to say thank you for creating such an interesting game. I had heard about this game from PAX East and decided to buy it (through Drive-Thru RPG).

I’m trying to get our first session going and one of my eagle-eyed PCs noticed that the playbook and MC charts are labeled as version 1.0 but the rulebook is 1.1. This actually came up because it appears that the Killer gets an additional move in the 1.1 rules that he doesn’t get in 1.0.

I’m just curious is there any sort of changelog around just so that I’m aware of the differences between the two? I just want to make sure that my PCs are drawing from the source and aren’t making themselves too strong or too weak compared to one another.

  1. The only difference between 1.0 and 1.1 is standardization of wording of certain moves that relate to hit the street, and typo and layout correction.

One of the typos related to the Killer. The Killer gets custom weapon and one extra move. They also get two pieces of cyberware instead of one. This is because one of their starting moves is chromed, which is why chromed is not on the Killer’s list of move options despite being on every other list.

The playbooks haven’t been revised because of an issue with the files that I haven’t resolved yet.

Incidentally, I never intended the version numbers to line up universally. That’s v1.0 of the playbooks and v1.1 of the PDF.
